PTG does not offer price matching. Many of the titles are extremely limited and difficult to obtain. Every effort is made to make competitive pricing.

Generally the games found on PTG are limited. For many titles there is not high chances to get additional copies in (but I do try). If you have a particular title you are after, please signup on the product page to be notified or contact PTG directly.

PTG attempts to communicate the likelihood of restocking of items to our best ability. This can be seen on product pages under “Additional Information” under “Restock Chances”. You can see a breakdown of those chances below.

  • Higher Probability – These items usually have larger print runs, have recently been published/re-published, or have enduring popularity. PTG will be trying to procure more copies.
  • Moderate Probability – These items may have larger print runs, have recently been published/re-published, or have enduring popularity. PTG will be interested in restocking where possible and if there is a demand.
  • Low Probability – These items usually have smaller print runs, are older titles, or are harder to find. PTG will attempt to restock if we are able to find them and there is demand.
  • Unlikely – These items usually have smaller print runs, are hard to obtain, are older titles. A high demand with limited availability makes these difficult to source. Rare titles may fall into this category.
  • Extremely Unlikely – These items usually have small print runs, are older titles, or are extremely difficult to find. Many rarer copies will fall into this category.

Yes! You can contact PTG about your interest in a title and we can explore options to procure it for you. Please understand, many titles are difficult and costly to obtain due to the nature of small print runs and need for importing.

Not all games will come with English Rules. Please review the product page for information relating to English rules inclusion. Many games will have translated rules available either in box or online. If you are having difficulty, please let me know and I will do my best to provide the translated rules to you.

PTG stocks both new and pre-owned titles. Please see the product page to determine the condition of the item. Many titles will rarely see reprints, the option for new is not always available on all titles.

For all used titles, the condition will be communicated and if there are any abnormalities or imperfections, they will be communicated where possible.

You can use tags or attribute filtering to search for refine your search.

We have several categories for conditions of pre-owned games, please see below for a general description of each:

  • Like New – These items are close to new, they may be unplayed, or look as such.
  • Great – These items are in top condition with limited marks, scuffs, or damages.

The logo marries two weird and quirky creatures from Australia and Japan. The platypus (Victoria) and a type of yokai known as the Kasa-Obake (Kanako).

The platypus is egg-laying mammal whose habitat is Eastern Australia. This beautiful animal has a sense of electrolocation, which it uses to detect prey while its eyes, ears and nostrils are closed! It is also one of the few species of venomous mammals!

The Kasa-Obake is a folklore creature from Japan. This spirited umbrella is not particularly fearsome as far as yokai go but rather seen as tricksters. One of the tricks the Kasa-Obake does is sneaking up on people and licking them with their huge tongues. They also like to make the user get soaked with water (which works out well for Victoria the platypus!).

These two creatures combined show a connection between Australia and Japan which is the vision of PTG by bringing games from Japan and elsewhere to Australian shores.

The logo was lovingly crafted by the incredibly talented Sai Beppu. Sai has created some beautiful artwork across the board game industry including such titles as: Nokosu Dice, Haggis, Vivo, Xylotar, Ghost Lift, and many, many more!

If you are interested in seeing more of Sai’s work, please give her a follow on Instagram and tell her Dave from Pretty Tricky Games sent ya!
